The Pipes of War Music Portfolio
A collection of pipe tunes composed during the Great War 1914-18
 
The first printing of THE PIPES OF WAR was a numbered, deluxe edition printed on handmade paper and limited to 200 copies with color plates. A separate portfolio of original pipe tunes was issued with each of those copies. We are pleased to offer that portfolio in print for the first time since 1920. All of the settings are original tunes composed during the Great War, most of which appear only in this collection.
 
NEW ADDITION. Two tunes have been added to this classic collection. A 6/8 march entitled: Farewell to the Vancouver Scottish (29th Battalion) and a 2/4 march entitled: The Canadian Scottish Farewell to Ypres, both composed by James Richardson, VC.
